Our little shop on Carlton Crescent is closing. The space that has been our creative home for the last three and a bit years, has been the focus of wonderful connections. Connections we made with our artists and with our community. That is something Gill and I will miss very much. Our journey now continues as an on-line store and we see our website, journal and social media as the way we can still share that journey and stay in touch with the creative folk we have got to know in the time since we opened in Summer Hill.
When we opened, one of our goals was to be a venue that supported artists and hand-making. We saw the journal and our social media as a resource for sharing inspiration and technique, as well as a resource that would help develop a real and an on-line community.
Thanks to you guys and the talented artists we got to work with, we believe we were able to achieve those goals. These are the things we are going forward with. We look forward to continue sharing that journey with you, in our new evolution as an online store.
Look out for us at A Celebration of Wool in Canberra on the 15th May, 2016.
We are very excited to be doing The Quilt & Craft Fair at The Sydney Exhibition Centre in June 22nd to 26th, 2016.
Gill and I will be there as the creatory, but also as independent artisans. Gill will have her handmade felt as Feltwilde and I am fronting up with my handmade jewellery pieces as Romana Toson Design. Lots more on that closer to the time, so stay in touch and come visit.
Thank you coming along on this creative journey with us and for sharing our love of beautiful handmade things. A heart felt thank you to you all.
